Bollywood is the largest film industry in the world producing over 1900 films every year. It is India’s largest entertainment business and since time immemorial Bollywood has been a constant happy-pill for billions of Indians around the world. Even in a highly digitized age, nothing can beat the feeling of visiting a movie hall and witnessing our favorite stars in all their glory. The feeling is still as refreshing as it was when the wheels of Indian cinema churned for the first time. Here is a list of the upcoming releases of 2018 that you should look out for:

3 Dev: Set to be released on 11th May, the film directed by Ankoosh Bhatt is surely going to be a roller coaster of a comedy. The film stars Karan Singh Grover, Ravi Dubey and Kunaal Roy Kapoor in pivotal roles. In this film the three actors will be seen to be playing the three faces of the trinity who make up the apex of the Indian pantheon of Gods, namely Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva, in their human avatars. The film also stars actor Kay Kay Menon. Though we are not sure about Kay Kay’s character, we can only guess that it is definitely going to be an intriguing one.

FryDay: King of comedy, Govinda is going to make a comeback again with Fryday. This film is directed by Avhishek Dogra, who also directed Sonam Kapoor starrer “Dolly ki Doli.” The poster of this film has been released and the tagline goes like this, “Sell Lies.” Right now we can only wonder at what that denotes. The film also features Varun Sharma of the “Fukrey” fame. We are keeping our fingers crossed. But we can definitely say one thing, that is, if there is Govinda there is going to be fun.

Race 3:  The third installment of the Race franchise is set to be released on 15th June. Directed by dance master Remo D’Souza, the film is going to be a star-studded treat, with Salman Khan, Jaqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol sharing screen space. The last two prequels only heighten our expectations and we hope this is going to be another movie studded with grand visual treats, fast cars, mind-boggling conspiracy and gravity-defying action.

Raazi: Based on the novel “Calling Sehmat” written by Harinder Sikka, “Raazi”, a Dharma Production film is one of the most ambitious projects of 2018. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and has Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The story revolves around an Indian girl who is sent to Pakistan to play the informant. The trailer holds a lot of suspense and both Alia and Vicky look promising in their roles. We can’t wait for the day (11th May) when the story will finally unfold before us.
