Prakash

Prakash Raj is a well-known actor and producer who has been dabbling in Tamil, Telegu, Kannada and Hindi films for over 3 decades. The multilingual actor started his career in Kannada serials on Doordarshan and then shifted base to Kannada movies. He has been a part of more than 2000 street theatre performances and has more than 200 films to his credit. This veteran actor, who is originally from Bengaluru, is loved by the audience all over the country. With so many films in his illustrious career, it's very hard to compile a list of must-watch movies at a time. Antahpuram

This 1998 film was a turning point in the career of Prakash Raj and won him a National Award in the Best Supporting Category. Antahpuram is the story of the two feuding families living in a small village and how a mother and her little get engulfed by the atrocities. Prakash Raj acted superbly in the role of Jagpathi Bapu, a messiah who helps the mother and her son at every step along the way.

Badri 

This romantic drama, that released in 2000, saw Prakash Raj turning in a top act as the proverbial villain standing in the way of two star-crossed lovers. He played the character of Nanda in this movie that was the first ever Telegu movie to have released in the USA.

Khadgam

This 2002 film was spun around three men- a wannabe actor, a police officer and a driver- trying to stop a terrorist activity. Prakash Raj played the role of the Muslim driver, Amjad, who loves his motherland dearly and will do anything to protect her from harm. Prakash Raj delivered an extremely nuanced performance as a patriotic man whose brother gets involved with the terrorists.

Nuvve Nuvve

This is a true-blue romantic film in which Prakash Raj plays the father of rich girl, who goes out his way to put an end to her affair with a middle-class boy. Starring Shriya Saran and Tarun in the lead roles, the film has a happy ending with the father himself getting his daughter married with the man she loves.

Okkadu 

This 2003 romantic film, that catapulted Mahesh Babu to instant stardom, had Prakash Raj playing a scary faction leader called Obul Reddy. In a bid to marry a girl against her wishes, he kills his brothers. The girl in question is played by the beautiful Bhumika and Prakash Raj turns in an absolutely chilling act as the typical villain.
